New Music Friday #13

Heya little gems,

Welcome to yet again a huge week for music lovers, with Lucy Dacus’ album and Ariana Grande’s deluxe album this week couldn’t get any better. These two are nowhere near the only ones being released.

  1. Lucy Dacus - Forever Is A Feeling
  2. Ariana Grande - eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead
  3. April Jai - GOOD GIRL
  4. Lyn Lapid - death wish
  5. Niall Horan - Heartbreak Weather (5-Year Anniversary Edition)
  6. Ellise - PRETTY EVIL

Lucy Dacus - Forever Is A Feeling

She actually also released a live video for Bullseye with Hozier, you can watch it here.

Ariana Grande - eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead

Ariana Grande is literally my childhood, listening to One Last Time and Break Free on repeat as a 12 year old, being obsessed with that music video, loved that time. Her newest Album “eternal sunshine” now gets a deluxe AND a short movie.

So, with the first listen the songs didn’t catch like they’re supposed to. Then the short movie premiered and I gave them another chance. During the movie I was making my homework but it was really well made. Watch the short movie here.

For now I think my favorite is either Hampstead or twilight zone.

You think you've read the book I'm still writing
I can't imagine wanting so badly to be right
Guess I'm forever on your mind
I wonder why

Lyn Lapid - death wish

In a month Lyn’s album “BUZZKILL” will be out and death wish is the fourth single off of it.

Though the title sounds so scary

I know it sounds bad like a death wish, but Cupid keeps killin' my friendships
Hope you never fall in love – Hope your dearest turns to dust
Though I'll never, ever confess it
But under my breath I got a death wish

Niall Horan - Heartbreak Weather (5-Year Anniversary Edition)

Heartbreak Weather has some of my favorite Niall songs; Put A Little Love on MeBlack & White, Arms of a Stranger, Still, No Judgement, Nice to Meet Ya, Dear Patience. (Yes I did in-fact just sum up half the album) But let’s be honest this album is an easy 10/10 if not a 1000/10.

This day last year (28-03-2024) I finally saw Niall live for the first time ever, and his set was AMAZING. With the whole crowd crying during Still and Put A Little Love on Me and jumping during Black and White. Amazing.

Today the deluxe songs Dress and Nothing came out and they fit the vibe so well.

Ellise - PRETTY EVIL

I’ve known Ellise since 2020 and has been on almost all my playlists ever since. Her debut album Chaotic will always be nr. 1 but PRETTY EVIL is so good. She started this era with bite in October ‘24 and that’s a banger.

Not a new track per se but I really wanted to share that this wednesday my girl Alex Apolline premiered the lyric visualizer for her song “downfall”. I am simply obsessed with it.

Watch it here!

Another music video premiered this Wednesday, namely Queen Zolita’s Hypocrite. This clip is a sapphic masterpiece yet again.

Watch it here!

Also new this week:

Hope you enjoyed it, see you next week:)

Next week:

  1. Alex Apolline - Still Won’t Feel Like Home (Single)
  2. Sydney Rose - I Know What I Want (EP)
  3. Rachel Chinouriri - Little House (EP)

XOXO Luna
